Terms of Reference
The College has a Council, chaired by the Dean, to undertake the following responsibilities:
- To assist the Dean with his/her responsibility in all day-to-day academic, administrative and financial issues of the College.
- To discuss the procurement of goods for the betterment of facilities within the College.
- To discuss the budget allocation and planning of expenditure.
- To approve student scholarships, programs & admission requirements.
- To discuss academic and student administration issues of the college.
- To oversee the development of the college’s programs and services.
- To monitor and evaluate the standard and quality of teaching.
- To monitor and maintain appropriate standards of student assessment and reporting.
- To ensure compliance with Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI) regulations.
- To consult & receive feedback from the affiliate University representatives.
- To be responsible for all external accreditations of the college.
- To review all new and revised policies and procedures and recommend to the Board of Trustees (BoT) for approval.
- To review the environmental safety and good housekeeping issues of the College.
- To discuss the provision of better facilities for the student’s comfort.
