IT Services Office

The IT Services Office is responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of the institution’s information technology infrastructure. This office ensures that the college’s network, computing resources, and digital services operate smoothly, securely, and efficiently to support the academic and administrative needs of students, faculty, and staff.

This office is particularly responsible for:

  • Providing technical support to students, faculty, and staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Maintaining a helpdesk system to log and track support requests, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Responding to IT support requests and troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
  • Managing and maintaining the college’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and other devices.
  • Creating, modifying, and disabling user accounts and emails for college students and staff as required.
  • Evaluating and procuring software licenses and hardware equipment as needed.
  • Implementing security measures to protect college data and systems from cyber threats.
  • Maintaining the college’s network infrastructure and monitoring network performance and connectivity issues.
  • Maintaining the College LMS and providing training support to staff and students on effective usage of LMS.
  • Performing routine backups and assisting with data recovery in case of emergencies.
  • Developing training materials and providing training sessions for users on IT systems and software.
  • Planning and executing system upgrades, software implementations, and network expansions based on requirements.
  • Participating in college committees and initiatives related to technology and innovation.
