Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is comprised of leaders from academic sectors. Their expertise and commitment guide the college in achieving its mission. The board plays a crucial role in strategic planning, financial oversight, and policy formulation, ensuring the institution’s sustainable growth and alignment with national educational goals. The Board, in particular, shall operate within the following terms of reference:

  • Setting the general policies of the institution to ensure the quality of education and enable the achievement of its mission.
  • Proposing the annual budget of the institution, including its deputies, deans, and heads of scientific research centers.
  • Selecting the Dean, the Head of Quality Assurance, and Heads of Scientific Research Centers.
  • Recommending the establishment, merging, or cancellation of colleges, departments, or scientific and research centers, and submitting them for approval to the relevant ministry.
  • Considering the recommendations and suggestions of the College Council and making necessary decisions based on them.
  • Approving tuition fees after obtaining approval from the ministry.
  • Approving student admission policies and conditions.
  • Accepting subsidies and donations provided to the institution after obtaining approval from the ministry.
  • Approving the final accounts of the institution and submitting them for approval to the Board of Directors or owners.
  • Approving the organizational structure and internal regulations of the college.
  • Approving the internal regulations of the institution.
  • Exercising any other competencies granted to the board under the internal regulations of the institution.
