Terms of Reference

 The prime responsibilities of the Board of Trustees include:

  • The Chairperson of the Board of Trustees shall be appointed by the Board of Directors;
  • Approve Bayan College Strategic Plan;
  • Discuss the budget and financial accounting;
  • Ensure the maintenance of high academic standards;
  • Supervise and approve all College awards;
  • Be responsible for critical incidents (such as approval of program closures, managing risk associated with the withdrawal of affiliate, or managing the loss of human or physical resources which directly impact students);
  • Approve all new and revised policies and procedures;
  • Determine student admission requirements into programs;
  • Appoint the Dean and senior positions holders
  • Submit the Annual Report to the Board of Directors.
  • The Terms of Reference of the Board will be reviewed at least every 3 years, or as needed.
