1. Students seeking admission to Bayan College must have successfully completed the General Education Diploma (Literary or Scientific Streams), or its equivalent.
  2. Required Documents
    Admission requirements are as follows:
    1. A completed “College Application Form” obtained from Admission and Registration Department
    2.  A certified copy of the General Education Diploma
    3. A copy of ID or passport
    4. 4 passport-size photos
    5. A completed “Sponsorship Card” to be obtained from the Admissions Office
    6. Sponsorship letter from sponsors
    7. R.O. 50 non-refundable application fee
    8. R.O. 25 non-refundable placement test fee (applies to students required to take the placement test)
    9. R.O. 25 non-refundable credit-transfer fees for transferred students
  3. Placement Test
    Students who wish to join Bayan College are required to take an online placement test (Pearson Online Placement Test) which is aligned to Common European Framework of reference (CEFR) and Global Scale of English (GSE). Based on the placement test scores students are allocated different levels of English language training (details of different levels and CEFR correlations available in GFP Handbook). Students with a score of 50 and above (GSE) / B1+ or above (CEFR) are eligible to appear for the Exit Test. Students with an IELTS(academic) band of 5 and above / TOEFL score of 500 and above are exempted from GFP English program .Students are also required to take a Placement Test in Math and IT. Students with ICDL/ IC3 certificates are exempted from the IT course in GFP. Students with equivalent IT certificates are eligible to appear for the IT exit test.
  4. Admission to academic programs
    To be admitted to academic programs, a student is required to meet one of the following criteria:
    1.  Pass the placement test administered by Bayan College
    2. Successful completion of Bayan College 3- level Foundation Program.
    3. TOEFL Test score of 500 or its equivalent in other recognized tests such as IELTS /5
    4. IC3 or ICDL will exempt students from   computer course at the Foundation Program.
