Two long pandemic years have taught us two important things about education. First-Physical classroom is still the major venue for academic learning, but digital advantages are also plenty. You can access the best libraries, attend online courses, no corner of academic life is out of reach.
Second-This abundance comes with a price. Pressure on everybody’s time is growing, selection of best programs and quality material becomes more challenging. Learning becomes sort of attention industry.
In response Bayan College opens a new, digital classroom. It is a virtual space to share scientific knowledge within two educational initiatives – video lectures “Knowledge Minutes” and “Professional Development Program Videos”.
Knowledge Minutes videos are short, condensed knowledge bites meant to intrigue and motivate the audience to search further and explore deeper.
We start first Knowledge Minutes series with major topics in media and communication, their content written and presented by lecturers of Media Studies Department.
The content of next video lectures will be prepared by other departments within the college area of studies.
