First meeting held for the restructured BoT
Bayan Campus: Bayan College (BC) conducted the first meeting of the newly appointed Board of Trustees (BoT) at the College campus on 19th June, 2023 chaired by Dr. Yaqoob Mohammed Al Ghatrifi, Assistant Professor, Business Communication, College of Banking and Financial Studies (CBFS).
The deputy chairman of the BoT is Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak al-Araimi, President of the Oman Journalist Association (OJA) and the other members include; Dr. Juma Saleh Al Ghailani, Chairman of Board of Directors, Bayan College and Mazoon College, Dr. Anwar Khamis AL Sheyadi, Assistant Professor, Rustaq College, University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS), Dr. Humaid Al Hajri, Assistant Professor, Al Sharqiyah University, Dr. Hafidh Al Riyami, Assistant Professor, Nizawa College of Applied Science,UTAS, Mr. Imad Juma Ali Al-Araimi, Experience in Ministry of Finance, Banking sector and Entrepreneur, Mr. Mohammed Al Khusaibi, Senior Specialist Learning and Development, Oman Investment Authority (OIA) and Mr. Hamza Juma Al Ghailani, representative of BoD. Dean of the College as BC representative and Convener.
The restructured BoT were introduced to the College Organization structure, roles and responsibilities and the College management briefed on the important milestones of the College since establishment. In addition to this, the board discussed the academic matters and future plans of BC.
